The Drum is the National Centre for Black British Arts and Culture, based in Aston, Birmingham. The Drum strives to lead and facilitate the development, celebration, performance and exhibition of the diversity of Black arts and cultures for the benefit of all.
We were approached by The Drum to look at rebranding their Children and Young People’s outreach programmes, and produce a new website and brochure.
As well as devising a new logo, we crafted the moniker ‘Create, Engage, Enjoy’, as the main statement, summing up the work and involvement from potential participants. Alongside this graphic title, we created a strong, visual style aimed at the young audience which was complimented with photography by Adrian Burrows.
The brochure contains feedback from currect participants, all who have been involved with The Drum’s many young people’s programmes, as well as highlighting upcoming events and schemes to be involved with.
As a companion to this, the website features video of previous performances and contains and the latest news and event information. The website is content managed, allowing the client to edit and create content throughout the site. We’ll be launching this very soon so check back for the link shortly.
