Reference Works is the largest and most significant photography commission ever undertaken in Birmingham. The resulting exhibition will be the first shown in the new Library of Birmingham gallery in Autumn 2013 and will also be featured in a major publication. The four commissioned photographers are Michael Collins, Brian Griffin, Andrew Lacon and Stuart Whipps.
We were tasked with creating a brand identity, website and initial launch material for the project, with ongoing design support for the next year until the exhibition (and new library) opens in 2013. We will also be generating the exhibition visual style for this opening show.
